A newb question, seeing as I usually solo or PUG everyting (also cause I've never had to.)
How does one go about PMing another player in game? Does it involve the friends list? Please let me know as I need to hook up with one of you guys/gals to get from Ascalon to Droknar's Forge. Or do I just whisper? And does one have to be in the same region as another player?

Just a bump.
The Blurr just ran me from Yak's to the Forge. I highly recommend this service. Hell, it took even less time than he said it would. And I was also at work, so I could have had to log off anytime for an emergency call, but the Blurr said he'd be more than accomodating to finish the run if it got interrupted.
Gold well spent if you ask me. I definitely plan on joining the academy they are sponsoring. Thanks Guys.

While in game, press SHIFT + " and fill in a character name to which you wish to send the whisper and then the message.

Partially. To whisper someone on your friend's list, simply left-click their user icon in the list and select "Send Whisper to <Name>"

No.

Many people have asked, so let me answer: Yes, it is harder but still possible to run solo from Beacon's Perch to Droknar's Forge. We still offer the service, and have increased the price slightly, but it is still very possible. Yes, it is completely possible to run solo to the Deldrimor War Camp. I made a few of those runs for 3 ecto a person last night, but mostly actually played the new content. It is slightly tricky with the Heretics (formerly known as archanists and the bane of runners), but a true expert should be able to get you there. We have added new running service to the War Camp and updated the other runs, increasing some prices, such as the world tour and southern shiverpeaks tour, which were going to go up in price anyway even without the War Camp on the map, but now we visit that spot, too. Thanks for all the interest and business.

The only really hard part of the run to the war camp is definately the heretics. I did it with my Me/W first try last night. Hex breaker=good, possibly small stints of holy veil as a W/Mo or spellbreaker as a Mo/W.
In retrospect it would have been a lot easier if I wasn't running blind and guessing where the was camp was by the signs.

Yes, a few have paid for it, I've done a couple myself, and I'm sure Lady, and Blurr have been credited for doing some

I used LBS's service again the other night. And once again I was impressed at the professional attitude they take towards thier job. And even more so in light of the update. Very nicely done. And well worth the price.
And speaking of prices, if you can afford it. Use this service. Some may do it cheaper, but I highly doubt better. The amount of negative price bashing I hear in beacons is laughable. You'd swear you were paying them real money. All I know is that I have my 1.5k armor early, and am going to enjoy not having to take henchies everywhere I go.
So what! I'm a power gamer. Sue me.

Most people do not use our service with a first character; typically they want to play end game stuff (fissure of woe, underworld, etc) or unlock PvP stuff with a second, third, fourth (or even fifth or sixth) character. People who use are runs know the game inside and out and we recommend people play through the game normally once before "skipping" dozens and dozens or even hundreds of hours of content to get to advanced parts of the game at highly accelerated rates. Experienced characters can transfer the huge amounts of wealth they have accummulated to their new characters via the storage vault.

Thats an idea, I also had when we we're doing some of the quests for the first time. I would like to do these quests, and such, but it's not up to me, that's up to Lady.

Time to bump this and mention a couple of things: I have nearly a dozen students in my runners academy who are learning all about my build and how I do various runs. I will list their names here when they graduate so you can know which runners really can make the Droknar's Forge run since the update. Please realize it is an entirely different kind of run than it was before. It is tough, and if you have seen more scammers and more failures than usual in Beacon's Pearch, it is not a coincidence. There are a number of new tricks since the update. But I and my runners can and do still make the run. So look for the best if you need that run.
Secondly, I am in need of a larger number than usual of customers for the ascension in style package because I want to bring academy students along on those runs. If you are in need of ascending a new character, this is a good time to contact us, because we will offer you a discount on the cost if we have a student or two present. That run helps us demonstrate running, fighting, and a number of other critical skills, so we would like to have people to take through the ascension over the next few weeks. Thanks!
